The weather is being so tempting….warm days and sun shining….but we are resisting…lol. As it is time to get serious about the preparations for our Fall Showcase. Contacting artisans, throwing and firing pots and letting you know about it all.

The weekend will run with our Preferred Booking on Friday and Saturday. Book yourself a time to visit. This allows for twenty people to wander the studio and see the amazing works created by the artisans in a relaxed manner. Sunday will be set aside for drop in, for those who prefer spontaneity.

There will be some new glaze tones on the shelves this year. It is really very exciting…the one thing I can always count on with pottery is change….lol. Mines close….new ones open…and glazes evolve. I think you will be as excited as me to see what the kiln gods are offering. And of course the shelves will be filled to the brim with work. My favourite is always the one of a kind mugs. And there will be lots to choose from. And so many other items to find the perfect gift.

New Artisan

The Upcycled Ladybug - This talented artisan upcycles used fabrics and clothing destined for rags and brings them to life making “ugly” dolls, zipper pulls and appliqued art to either grace your walls or your clothing.

  • Peeter’s Pride Alpacas – Beautiful soft alpaca yarns and products from a local alpaca farm. Socks, felted dryer balls, yarns for knitting your own creations and lovely knitted pieces from the talented hands of Laurie Peeters

  • Toula’s House of Clay – Haven’t got a green thumb….then Toula’s stunning clay flowers are for you. Or find that perfect Christmas ornament.

  • Westmount Soap Co. – So many amazing scents to choose from. Well crafted handmade soaps. Clean never smelled so good.
